It tastes great with rotis, dosa and pulavs



  1. Heat oil in a pressure pan and add clove, cinnamon and cardamon.
  2. Add the chopped onion and saute till it turns golden brown.
  3. Add all the vegetables and salt and saute.

  4. Close the lid and cook on pressure for 2 whistles.
  5. Meanwhile, grind coconut, cashew nut, poppy seeds, green chillies, fennel seeds and garlic into a fine paste.
  6. Open the lid once the pressure subsides and add the paste to the vegetables.

  7. Add a cup of water and allow the kuruma to boil for five minutes.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves.

  9. Serve hot with stuffed paratha.
