Potatoes and green peas cooked with onions and tomatoes along with spices and masala.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the peas with little salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder. If using dried peas, soak overnight and then cook.

  2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add the fennel seeds and pepper. Then add the chopped onions, curry leaves and saute.

  3. Add ginger garlic paste and saute.

  4. Now add the chopped tomatoes and saute.

  5. Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.

  6. Now add the boiled potatoes and peas. Cook for a minute or two.

  7. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve this tasty Potato Peas Masala with roti or Rice.
