Serve this tasty Potato Butterbeans Kuruma with chapathi, roti or rice.

  1. Heat oil in a wok. Add cinnamon, curry leaves and onions and saute. Then add the tomatoes, potatoes and butterbeans.

  2. Now add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala.

  3. Add a little water and add capsicum.

  4. Meanwhile grind coconut, fennel and fried gram to a fine paste.

  5. Add the coconut paste to the boiling kuruma.

  6. Allow the kuruma to boil for a few more minutes.

  7. Transfer to a serving dish.
