Who doesn’t love the spicy tasty Biriyani? whether it be veg or non-veg, biriyani is loved by all. This Easy Vegetable Biriyani is simple and quick to make. Spread the rich aroma by cooking this simple yet tasty biriyani and find your loved ones awaiting at the dining table even before the recipe is completed.

Cook it with all your kid’s favorite vegetables and you’ll be surprised to see them bringing only empty lunch boxes back home.  Serve it with onion raitha or any other raitha of your choice.

A healthy and nutritious recipe that is very tasty too...



  1. Lets keep all the ingredients ready to cook our Easy Veg Biriyani.

  2. Add oil in a pressure pan. Add all the spices and the green chillies and keep covered as the chillies may sputter.
  3. Now add the onions and fry till golden brown. Then add the ginger garlic paste and fry.
  4. Add mint leaves, Meanwhile grind the garlic and tomato and keep aside.
  5. Now add the vegetables one by one. Stir in chilli powder, garam masala and salt.

  6. Now add the tomato garlic paste and then add one and a half cups of water.

  7. When the water boils add the soaked basmati rice. Cover and pressure cook for 8 minutes.

  8. Once the pressure subsides, open and add the ghee and stir lightly to evenly mix the vegetables and ghee.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with raitha.
