Cutlets are all time favorite snack. It is one of the easiest ways to serve vegetables to the kids. When served with their favorite ketchups, kids would never say “NO” to the tasty cutlets. Here I have used the left over potato peas masala, that was cooked for the lunch. Surprise your surprise guests by serving these simple and easy cutlets, made from the curry or the masala that you prepared for lunch. Also serves as a healthy evening snack for the school going kids.

Tasty Cutlets made from the leftover potato peas masala and bread slices.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Take 4 - 6 slices of sweet bread. You can also use wheat bread.

  2. Dip one slice of bread in little water.

  3. Immediately remove from water. Squeeze between palms and carefully remove the corners.

  4. Sligthly mash the potato peas masala and remove the curry leaves if any.

  5. Now place a teaspoonful of the masala at the center of the bread slice.

  6. Carefully fold to cover the masala from all the sides. Make round shaped patties and keep aside. Repeat the steps with the remaining bread slices.

  7. Heat a tawa and cook these cutlets with little oil. Cook on both sides until golden brown. You can also shallow fry.

  8. Serve these tasty cutlets with ketchup.
